 Create user accounts for each mailbox.

1. Create customer configuration (.prf file) for each user and save it separately.

• Create a new folder in each GroupWise account being migrated, and name it like ‘shift to outlook’
• Create a rule with restriction that it should “Forward all new mails, appointments, tasks and reminders to the new account and move them to the folder ‘Shift to outlook’ file.
• Remove other applied rules.

3. Convert one account from GroupWise to PST format through Voimakas GroupWise to Outlook converter. Associate user cannot send or receive any mail during the conversion process.
4. Once the PST file is created, uninstall GroupWise from the computer. To uninstall GroupWise you’ll need to restart the system.
5. Use cleanup agent to clean the system and remove traces of GroupWise.
6. Install MS Outlook.
7. Use the .prf file created in step 2 to configure the Outlook client for the user.
8. Once Outlook is configured successfully, import the converted GroupWise data (PST file).
